Creative Inspire T3200 Specs:

Power: 29 W RMS
Response of Frequency: Forty hertz to twenty kilohertz
Config.: 2.1

Features:

• Integrated cradle will hold MP3 player at perfect viewing angle
• It’s magnetically shielded – put close to monitor or TV without interfering
• Manufacturer warranty
• Parts: one year limited
• The labor: one year limited

Pros

The sound quality is excellent. I tested all different genres I could think of and all of them sounded clear. There wasn’t any distortion as sound level is high and bass adjustment is mandatory while clicking back and forth in between techno and softer genres. The bass hits really hard as you want it to. It possesses a compact design. I recommend highly the system.

Cons

Volume control box possesses 3 wires attached to it that makes it hard to adjust the volume utilizing the control box. But, once it’s set, I just utilize my personal computer sound control choices, therefore it’s not a big deal. The neighbors bang on my door sometimes and shout at me to turn down the bass.

Bottom Line

I have just purchased speakers from specific businesses as it comes to computer speakers: Logitech, Klipsch, as well as Cambridge Soundworks. I’d never purchased Creative brand speakers and I have to state these are on point with the best brands within the field, that is, as far as computer speakers go.

Great sound can come in a small package. These Creative Inspire T12 speakers prove that.

When you open the box to take out these speakers, chances are that you will be surprised at just how small these Creative T12 speakers actually are. However, size does not affect sound output! These Creative Labs Inspire T12 speaker system proves that this is true as well.

Small Size but Lots Of Sound

If you have a small space for your speakers to be placed, but you still like to play the volume loud when you are listening to music or playing games on your computer, then these speakers just might be what you are looking for.

Looks Great and Sounds Great

Suppose you are also looking for a speaker set that looks fairly nice in addition to having good sound? This isn’t too much to ask for, is it? The Creative T12 speakers can easily meet that request too. The speakers are attractive looking and the black finish with the chrome power dial should fit in well with most decors. The sound is nice on these speakers and not overwhelming, which means that you can even use them in an office environment. The bass is nice, but not to over the top. The mid-range and upper-range sounds also can be nicely heard using this system.

Easy to Install

For people who are technologically challenged, you will be glad to learn that the Creative Labs Inspire T12 speaker system is easy to install. In fact, it is so simple to install that you probably will not need help from your children! You can also use these speakers with other tech products that you may have including your Bluetooth, iPod or MP3 player. The speakers are easy to disconnect from your computer, connect to another product, and then re-connect to your computer when you need to do so.

Speakers Covered With Mesh Covers

One of the drawback on this system is the mesh covers. They can collect dust, but they are very difficult to clean and require a little bit of care in order to stay dirt and dust free. However, some people actually prefer to have their speakers covered with this type of cover. Basically, it depends upon your tastes.

Recessed Controls

While some people enjoy the recessed controls, other people may find this not so enticing. Again, this is a personal decision that only you can make.

Conclusion

If you are looking for a reasonably priced small set of speakers with good sound that can install easily into your device, you should probably consider purchasing this product.

Klipsch is a high end producer of speakers, although they didn’t enter the computer speaker market until 1999. They haven’t released too many different products, instead relying on a select few high quality speaker systems to satisfy customers. There’s no pandering to the masses with Klipsch – they only offer premium speakers at premium prices. Especially with computer parts, you really do get what you pay for.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Specifications

The Klipsch – ProMedia 2.1 speaker system is a high end 2.1 system costing around $150. It’s been manufactured since 2000, an eternity when it comes to computers. Even after all these years, it still sells reliably well.

There’s nothing particularly special about the design – just two satellites and a subwoofer, though they’re attractive and sturdily built. One problem common to many computer speakers is that they often look cheap or weak, prone to breaking if a gust of air blows the wrong direction. That’s certainly not the case with the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system.

The audio connection is a standard 3.5 mm audio cable from the left satellite speaker. The system would benefit from the 3.5 mm cable coming out of the subwoofer since it would cut down on wire clutter, but that’s almost the only design flaw in the whole system.

The other design flaw is the power switch, which is located on the rear of the subwoofer. Most speaker power switches are located on the satellite or a remote control, where you can find volume and bass controls. Since it’s on the rear of the subwoofer, it’s almost impossible to reach.

If you’re willing to whip out another $40, you can pick up the wireless version of the ProMedia 2.1 system. It’s the exact same system, except the speakers connect to the computer with a USB wireless adapter. The USB adapter means the wireless ProMedia 2.1 system bypasses your sound card, so high end discrete sound cards are completely wasted.

Audiophiles will probably want to stick with the wired version. The 3.5 mm audio jack allows the sound card’s better audio output to perform admirably, and the wired version is substantially cheaper anyway.

Total power output is 35 watts a piece for the satellites and 130 for the subwoofer, so the system tops out at 200 watts total.

Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Sound Quality

The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system succeeds admirably when it comes to sound quality. The volume control doesn’t actually change the volume too dramatically, depending on the computer’s audio volume setting. However, most keyboards come with audio controls today anyway, so this isn’t a huge issue.

You won’t need to turn the bass on the subwoofer up to a high setting since even low settings create sonorous thundering. Turning it on one quarter of the way is sufficient most of the time, and halfway is about the threshold of comfort. If you love bass, by all means, turn it up, but when your neighbors call the police, you’ll know why.

The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers are incredibly versatile. They handle highs and lows equally well, and there isn’t a frequency at which they have any sort of crackling or static.

Conclusion

The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers are expensive, but they’re worth it if you watch a lot of movies on your computer, play video games, or just want to get that extra oomph out of music. You can get decent speakers for a lot less, but audiophiles never settled for decent.

Bose speaker systems will be well-known for their excellent and quality sound production. There are lots of these units, yet one of them I’d highly recommend includes the Bose Companion 3 speakers. The speaker set is ideal for connecting to all devices – DVD players, TVs, computers and all things in between.

Description

What this Bose Companion 3 set is the most proud of includes its small size excellent for all locations. Acoustimass subwoofer is more compact than most additional units, the cube speakers are absolutely compact, and every one of the speakers comes within a stand that is 3.5-inches in height. You could place these speakers upon your desk and the subwoofer underneath a table or within a glass shelf – it is your choice. The set is extremely simple to place within any location, and it definitely is good-looking for all home décor and room settings.

The Bose Companion 3 Speakers Are Top-Notch Quality

Dimensions of these speakers include 2.5″ by 2.75″ by 2.5″ and their weight is eighty ounces apiece. Acoustimass model possesses the dimensions of 8.5″ by 6.75″ by 13.75″ and weighs 14.7 lbs. There also is a control pod that possesses the dimensions of 2.5″ by 1.13″, and its compactness is nearly negligible; you could just put it within a desk or tabletop and it would not even make a difference.

Each piece of this device is shaded a sleek black and the grilles include a silver color. The darker color will make them look great even with consistent weathering, and also they stay in great condition following many years of use. You could easily match them with all home décor and their good-looking appearance is a huge plus for their value.

Audio

As with most systems of Bose speakers, it’s a costly speaker set, yet you’d definitely discover its quality worth its cost. The speakers will be the primary sound source, and they’re responsible for creating higher frequencies and mid-high tone ranges. In contrast, Acoustimass possesses the whole responsibility over the lower notes and frequencies, ensuring that each piece of this set possesses a unique task that it ought to fulfill to develop a full system. The signature TrueSpace digital processing circuitry includes a trademark Bose attraction integrated within the device to develop a wide 2-channel sound amplification that’s particularly made for optimal listening satisfaction. There also is an integrated compression circuitry which keeps the music crisp and clear, undistorted even at higher levels of volume, for the ideal sound production you could find.

Additional Features

A control pod permits accessibility for volume control, one-touch mute, and additionally audio out and in jacks for privately listening upon earphones or playing from an additional audio source such as an MP3 player. Satellite speakers possess a magnetic shield that prevents signal interference in order to keep the music smooth and clear. Active electronic equalization will be responsible for adjusting the high, mid and low frequencies in order to keep them balanced, as well as to make this system create a clear and more natural tone.

Though there include many Bose speaker systems, Bose Companion 3 Multimedia Speaker System includes one of the ideal units this company provides. If you are searching for an excellent Bose speaker system to add to your home entertainment unit, this is the speaker set to get.

The Bose Companion 2 multimedia speaker system is an ideal setup for anyone who is tired of the stock speakers that came with his computer. The speakers are OK at best for occasional and casual listening, but not for watching movies or listening to music. The Bose Companion 2 speakers will have no trouble outperforming them.

It is important to state that anyone who is looking for good audio equipment, particularly speakers, should consider Bose. Many audio enthusiasts love Bose for having big sound in a small system. A typical system consists of satellite speakers and a subwoofer. It can be eerie how much sound can come out of a compact system like that. It reproduces all of the crisp highs and rich low end anyone could want in a speaker system.

The Bose Companion 2 Speakers Are A Solid Choice All Around

This speaker system does not have the subwoofer. They are made to be unobtrusive and to keep as much space freed up as possible. The lows come from the two satellites, and Bose says they are much better than the lows from stock computer speakers. Considering the high quality of everything else Bose offers, you would have to believe them.

To provide a full sound, Bose uses its patented TrueSpace stereo processing. It simulates surround sound from stereo or surround sound sources. To be honest, you are not going to get true surround sound from two speakers, but TrueSpace stereo processing does widen the sound to make it seem much bigger than you would expect from two small speakers. Bose excels at this.

To get the lows you would not expect from a small system, Bose Companion 2 speakers have a ported cabinet. This allows for more resonance, and it allows the sound to develop more before it reaches your ears. This makes it a little richer. Keep in mind; these speakers are not subwoofers, so the bass is not going to blow your roof off. One the other hand, considering the low cost of this system, you are getting a lot of sound. In a Bose Companion 2 review, the buyer of this system commented that it offers pleasing and balanced sound.

In another Bose companion 2 speakers review, the buyer said that these speakers have an incredible sweet spot. That means you have to be right in front of them to hear them well. That is the way the company designed them. They have an angle that aims the sound at the listener. They are designed for a computer, not a home entertainment system. They are only 7.5 inches tall, about 3 inches wide and about 6 inches deep.

With the Bose Companion 2 Speakers you also get:

an audio input cable

an AC power jack

auxiliary jack to hook the speakers up to multiple devices simultaneously

a headphone jack on the front of the speakers

magnetic shielding to eliminate monitor interference

an owner’s manual

The Bose Companion 2 multimedia speaker system is a nice looking system, and is the perfect set of computer speakers as an upgrade for moderate audio/video enjoyment. If you are an audiophile who demands more, this system may not be enough for you; however, for most casual computer users it will be plenty. It is the most affordable of all Bose speaker systems, so it can be had for a song.

Kenwood Corporation is based out of Japan. They mostly manufacture amateur radios and portable audio equipment. They were founded in 1946.

In 1999, Kenwood launched its first product aimed at the computer speaker retail market. They introduced two lines of speakers at that time, the CL-501 and the CL-701 speaker models. The goal was to provide quality computer speakers at a reasonable price.

The CL-501 was a 2.0 set of speakers that worked well if you just wanted to play some basic music through your computer. They were designed with attractive coverings and had some pretty good sound quality. These speakers were definitely made for the budget-minded computer user who did not put a whole lot of stock into have a great sounding set of computer speakers.

The CS-701 was more designed for the sound enthusiast. This was a 2.1 three-piece set that provided a great sound experience for any computer user. It added in a sub-woofer to carry the nice rich bass tones and provide that bottom-end that was missing in the CL-501 series. Although the sound quality was greatly enhanced with this model, these Kenwood Computer Speakers were still designed for the person who was on a budget and did not want to spend an arm and a leg on computer speakers.

Although we cannot find any official word, it seems that Kenwood has gotten out of the business of making Kenwood Computer Speakers. We have researched this and it seems that the CL-701 series was the last one manufactured. You will be extremely hard-pressed to find these in any marketplace today.

It seems that Kenwood has chosen to focus on other areas they are very popular with such as car audio speakers and receivers. One cool factoid is that they currently make all of the standard audio equipment for the Lamborghini Murcielago. How cool is that!

When looking for a new set of speakers for your computer, there are several factors that should go into making your decision. Especially when looking for the best computer bass speakers.

The first thing you should be aware of is what kind of sound card you have in your computer and what are its capabilities. You want to make sure that when you buy a set of computer bass speakers that your sound card will be able to provide enough power to the speakers and also be able to properly power the number of speakers you have.

A huge determining factor when selecting computer bass speakers is the bass sound itself. Nothing beats a nice crisp clear bass sound that thumps with no rattling. Have a good bass sound not only takes listening to music to another level, but it also makes gaming ultra fun!

So what exactly is bass? The word bass is used to describe the sounds of the low frequency or range. Bass tones are normally used to support the underlying rhythm in music. It provides support to the overall arrangement and gives overall body to the composition of the music.

Computer Bass Speakers

When you’re looking for computer bass speakers to buy, you want to make sure that you are getting a nice high quality design. There are models have the bass subwoofer on the floor or there are some models that have the bass speaker that sits right on your desk. Any of the brand named speakers that get good reviews would be a great choice such as Altec Lansing, Bose or Logitech. You don’t want to purchase some computer speakers and then a week later have problems. The subwoofer needs to be able to handle those low tones. A well-built sub-woofer will not rattle or distort even if you have the volume cranked all the way up. Do yourself a favor and get a good quality set of computer bass speakers!

Computer Sound Systems have evolved over time just ask quickly as we have seen computers make leaps and bounds on the technology front. We can look back and remember the standard two speaker setups that had no real sound quality to them. These were your standard 2.0 speakers. The 2.0 refers to just 2 speakers. Eventually 2.1 speakers were made. The 2.1 refers to having 2 speakers plus a sub-woofer. Today, Computer Sound Systems are designed to provide 7.1 channels.

Finding the right solution depends on what you are going to use your computer speakers for. You most certainly need to take into account what kind of sound card your computer has. Having a set of 7.1 computer speakers hooked up to a sound card that doesn’t have enough power will only cause many headaches. Sound is a huge factor when using your computer for such things as:

recording music

gaming

home theater setups

Computer Sound Systems have a huge price range. You can find your most basic setups for under $100, but the more advanced setups will cost you hundreds if not thousands of dollars. It all depends on what you are going to be using the computer speakers for. Some of the better computer speakers for recording music will run you around $500 or more, although there are some cheaper alternatives. A good 7.1 surround sound set for gaming will cost your between $200 and $300 dollars. If you just really enjoy listening to music on your computer and have just the basic requirements, then you can get a good set of speakers for under $100.

Before purchasing speakers for your Computer Sound Systems, you should check out the internet and read reviews. You want to make sure you are reading reviews from other people who are using their speakers for what you are going to be using them for (i.e. gaming). Know what the sound card in your computer will handle. This is a very important step that often gets overlooked. Set a budget for what you want to spend. Maybe you need to have a plan to save the money before spending. This is not so bad as it will give you time to review the best computer speakers. Buy a brand name. One that has been on the market for a while such as: JBL Computer Speakers, Altec Lansing Computer Speakers, Klipsch Computer Speakers or Harmon Kardon Computer Speakers.

We at Computer Sound Systems hope to make this task a bit easier on you as we will be striving to provide the best reviews, news and information on the best speakers for computer. We will be reviewing both old and new setups. Enjoy!
